Parents must be crazy!!!

i mean, i have a weird name. I am a thorough-bred Tamilian Iyer child (whether i adhere to the rules is not the topic of discusion), but my name is Samantha Iyer. People have always mistaken me for a catholic! anyway, i was just thinking what goes through parents' heads when they name their kids name like these:
Titty
Jijo/Sijo/*insert weird mallu name*
Joan Of Arc (yeah, someone is called that in my mums office. really man! so fuckin weird! i didnt believe her till i saw that womans ticket! it read: Arc Of Joan Ms!)
Amal Anthony Socrates Mary Joseph

man, these poor people must be the 'condom break kids'. their parents suddenly must have realised that they didnt want to have the kid and then torture them with weird names like that. now who would do that to their children?? beats me!

ps: i'm not the one to talk. but my parents couldnt help it. my paternal grandad decided to name me after the woman he loved before getting married to my grandmother. the saddest bit is that i am the only granddaughter and hence, the name. sigh. maybe he sould have named one of my male cousins samantha. hehehe!
