This is a direct copy paste of a friends blog. Anyway, when i read this, it came as a shock to me as well. I didn't know Saqib too well, but i am also a Cottonian and pretty much lived in the Boys' school. I can't do much but try and mobilise resources, so i will do just that. Cottonians of the world, UNITE. i know that sounded corny, but i wanted to say it. and i will also say Nec Dextrosum, Nec Sinistrosum...

Appeal for an Old Cottonian
Saqib Chinoy, (School Captain of Bishop Cotton's '96-'97), has been diagnosed with leukemia.
If any of you can donate B+ blood or contribute monetarily, please contact his brother Saad at +91-99455-65983 or Mrs. Nayeem (our English teacher) at 98456-56298.

On a personal note, this came as a huge shock. He was a year senior to me in school and I remember him as a wonderful human being - kind, dignified and a shining example for the 4000 Cottonians he led.
I hope he recovers soon and that we (especially you OCs out there) can help mobilise resources for him.
-Ronald Philip (Class of 98)
